Gartner analyst company published a list of the top 10 strategic technologies in 2010, which will determine the development of IT industry in the next few years.

This year Gartner researchers gave first place cloud computing, which is a platform for software applications and services and the basis of information and business processes. Followed by business intelligence (CRM and ERP), technology connected clients slient somputing (which allow getting rid of hardware platforms), "green technology" (energy-saving systems, electronic documentation, telecommuting, etc.)

On the fifth analysts put the reorganization of the data center using ready-made kits. Then social applications and social networks, a means of active monitoring in security systems, flash memory (which sale, on a background of falling prices, will rise to 100% per year) followed .   

Virtualization technology, which led a similar list at Gartner in 2009 shifted to the 9 th place. For the first time mobile applications hit in the top-10: according forecasts, by 2010 more than 1,2 billion people will use mobile devices capable of providing access to online applications and e-commerce.
